Hello!

I’m Clare, your spreadsheet and organisation enthusiast. My love for weddings and events bloomed when one of my best friends got engaged and asked me to be a bridesmaid. We were fresh in our twenties, and she was the first of us to be married, so you can imagine the level of excitement I had. During this process, I wanted to be as involved as I could in her planning process which is where my love for weddings was ignited. During this time, I was also trying to find something I was passionate about because I didn’t want to be stuck in a job that I didn’t love. But thanks the Mary & Yujin, I had found my passion!

I began my journey by studying Event Management and once graduated, I was eager to join the work force however the world had other plans. Yes, that’s right, COVID came to Perth and all wedding and events stood still - this definitely put a dent in my plans! Regardless, I knew I wanted to be in the wedding industry, so I started to brainstorm.

As I came from a retail background, I landed my first job in the industry as a Bridal Stylist at Grace Loves Lace. I figured that this would allow me to understand a bride’s needs and could talk to them all things weddings. I loved working for GLL and learnt so much about the wedding dress process which has been such a help to my brides now as I can give them a trusted opinion due to my background.

Once wedding and events came back on the scene at Perth, it was time to move on from GLL which is when I started my Event Management journey at Pan Pacific Perth. Since then, I have worked as a corporate, social, and wedding event manager and my most recent venture was living in Sydney for the last two years and working as an event manager for Sydney’s hospitality giant Merivale! Working for Merivale was one of the best experiences I had and had the pleasure to work with some of Australia’s top wedding planners such as JIMKET, DK Weddings & Events and Mrs Smith Weddings.

Which brings us to today! Now back in Perth, my mission is to ensure that you get your perfect day the way you have always envisioned it. If you’ve taken the time to read ALL of that, let’s grab a coffee and let’s see what I can do for your special day!
